When placing an order with Catarina Gonçalves Ceramics, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. These conditions apply to all purchases made through the website and define the key details regarding our products, order processing, payment, and shipping.

Products

All pieces are handmade, crafted without the use of molds. As a result, subtle variations in shape, size, or glaze may occur between product photos and the item you receive. These variations in form and finish are intrinsic to the handmade process, making each piece one-of-a-kind.

Orders

All items available for purchase on the website are in stock and ready for shipping or local pickup at the Studio. Some collections may be limited edition and will not be restocked.

Packaging

We prioritize sustainability. Most packaging materials are reused and what is not, is sourced in Portugal and are eco-friendly, recyclable.

Payment

We accept the following secure payment methods:

  • Credit Card & Debit Card

  • Apple Pay & Google Pay

  • Cash (only for purchases made by appointment at the Studio)

Shipping

Prices & Taxes All prices listed on our website are final. Since we are a small business based in Portugal, we operate under the VAT Exemption Regime (Artigo 53.º do CIVA). This means:

  • Portuguese & EU Customers: No VAT (IVA) is added to your order. The price you see in your cart is the final amount you will pay.

  • International Customers (Outside the EU): You are also not charged Portuguese VAT. However, please be aware that your order may be subject to local import duties and taxes once the package reaches your country. These charges are determined by your local customs office and are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Processing time: All orders are processed within 2–7 business days.

  • Pickup: Available at the Studio by appointment. Email us at catarinagoncalves.ceramics@gmail.com to schedule.

  • Shipping methods: We ship domestically and internationally via courier or CTT, with tracking info shared via email.

Shipping Times

  • Portugal: 2–5 business days.

  • European Union: 5–10 business days.

  • Rest of the World: 10–20 business days (subject to customs processing).

Order Tracking Once your order has been handcrafted and shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can follow its journey to you.
